Alright, Toronto travelers—brace yourselves. I just stumbled upon a ridiculously good deal that made me double-check if it was a typo. A direct flight from Toronto to Lisbon this September for only CAD $616. Yes, that’s about 50% cheaper than what we usually see. If you’ve ever dreamed of pastéis de nata and ocean views with tiled streets under your feet, this might be your sign.
And it gets better: if you feel like making it a full-blown vacation (and honestly, why wouldn’t you?), you can spend 6 nights in Lisbon in a well-rated hotel near downtown for only CAD $477 more. So the total? Just CAD $1093 per person. That’s almost insulting to regular travel agencies who usually package this for over $1800. Sorry, not sorry.
Now, about Lisbon in September: it’s warm, sunny, but not the “I’m melting” summer heat. Locals are still around, the crowds have calmed down, and everything’s alive but not overwhelming.
